Kind Words About Skate Dance Dream
The Mentor FSC loves hosting Skate Dance Dream Camps for the skaters in our club and community, Parker Pennington and his team bring an excitement and energy to the ice that gets everyone up and moving. From spins, edgework and off ice dance, there is something for every level skater! Skate Dance Dream camps fuses fun into learning and teaches young skaters the art of performing!
There are so many great and positive things about SDD it’s hard to just pick one. From the inspiration, motivation, fun and excitement the entire SDD staff brings to all the skaters, to watching my daughters’ learn from all the stars! But I must say the one thing that I’ll never forget was the look on my daughter’s face coming off the ice after working with the stars. Fun! Excitement! A look of renewed confidence and inspiration that had been missing!! So to all the SDD staff and stars thank you for all the work you do to bring fun, excitement, motivation and inspiration to all the kids!!
Our 9 year old beginning skater loves skating, but it wasn’t until she had the Skate Dance Dream experience that everything clicked. She is now absolutely passionate about the sport and has a new confidence in herself. In a world where kids are too often pitted against each other in competition, Skate Dance Dream builds teamwork and friendships. It also gives students – at the full range of levels of performance, from super basic to amazingly skilled — the opportunity to learn from and perform with the very best in the business. By showing kids that the whole is bigger than the individual players, Skate Dance Dream also teaches kids a lot more than just about skating. It is transformative. Thank you SDD!
I am very honored to say we had the opportunity to have Skate Dance Dream at the Kettering Ice Arena. I was excited from the start to be able to have this amazing event come to our area but it truly was inspirational to watch. The young athletes worked so hard and the entire time all you saw were smiles and heard laughter. They had the times of their lives skating with their idols. I stood back and watched Ryan Bradley with the young group of skaters and they just looked up at him with star struck eyes. It truly reminded me of the dreams of young athletes and how just a moment can leave a stamp on who they are and what they work for.
The Skate Dance Dream crew was great to work with and the memories all of the young athletes have from it is priceless.
“A special thank you to Parker Pennington and his team at Skate Dance Dream! Thank you for providing an outlet for kids to be active and creative. You are setting a fine example for the youth of America…
